Poker Online Casino
Pai-gow poker has been derived from an ancient Chinese dice game. This intriguing game requires both skill and luck. These online casino games incorporate the various elements from its Chinese origins to make it an amalgam of tradition and modernity. Poker was then taken from China and brought to America where it became very popular amongst poker USA players.
The objective of this game is to make 2 hands form 7 cards and one or both hands must be better than that of the dealer. Pai-Gow Poker uses 53 cards with one card as the joker. The joker is employed only as an ace to complete a flush, a straight flush or a straight. Hands have rankings in Pai-Gow Poker and the best is 5 Aces. After that comes the straight flush. The rest of the order of ranking is Four of a Kind, Flush, Straight, Three of a Kind, Two Pair, Ace, King, Queen, Jack.
In Pai-Gow poker online casino game players are playing against the banker, who is usually the dealer but can also be one of the other players. The dealer deals, face down, seven stacks of seven cards leaving four cards remaining to be discarded. This is done no matter how many players are playing the game. Bets are then made and the dealer rolls three dice from a cup that determines who receives the first stack. The stacks are handed out clockwise. If there are less than six players, the remaining stacks are discarded.
Players then divide their cards into 2 hands. A 2 card low hand is placed in front of the 5 card high hand. A player must ensure that his five card hand is greater than his 2 card hand. If a player cannot make this hand he is disqualified and loses the bet. After players have made the best hands they can with their seven cards, the banker presents his cards. The hands are compared and bets are paid accordingly.
In order to win, both of the layers hands must be higher than banker’s. When hands are of equal value, the banker wins. If the player wins one hand but loses the other, no money is won. If players beat the banker, the dealer pays the banker’s money to the player and when the player loses his money is awarded to the banker. The house does not pay out and collects money by charging a rake of usually 5 % on each winning bet. Other poker games include Omaha and Texas Holdem poker games.
